I am ready to go postal!!!!!!!!! I removed all mounting bolts for the midshaft and the pump, but cannot get them to release from each other. Is there a trick anyone knows? I have tried rubber mallet on both. Nothing. I have used hammer and mini sledge with 2x4. Nothing. Help!!!!!!!!!!

I need to replace my couplers. Are the engine and midshaft couplers std or reverse thread? Anti-Seize or locktite on the threads of new couplers?
