Never put a ground to the tank, no issues what so ever.
Unfortunately I no longer have the ski or tank, sold it about a month ago. One of those in carbon would be the cats meow.
Thank you Brian, Drew and everyone else involved in making this ride what it has become. I would highly recommend this ride to anyone that is thinking about this venue. I personally can't remember the last time I had that much fun riding as I did on Saturday. A special thank you to Thrust for...
I have been slacking lately, sucks going back to work! I need to post up some final pics and a ride report, all I can say is I love this hull and motor!!!!
Virginia Beach was a huge success minus breaking two steering nozzles, thanks Ryan for all the help. Saturday night it was in the bar...
That this is absolutely sweet, thank you so much! I've used it twice since I've been home, next time it's on there I'll snap a pic of it. I love it so far and I've gotten two comments already from some random guys at the launch.
Need to catch up with the build thread. I must say that I was slacking a little on the pictures once I really got going on the assembly of this thing. These are a few I took as I got some things inside of it. Sorry but the gas tank isn't new because it will only be in there for a month or so...
Just from the research I did before assembly I decided to put them in the center, seems to work rather well so far. As for the padding I mad some pads on the pole but like you suggested I am going to add some more to the hood, don't want any scratches or chips in the paint from the pole or pad...
Well I was a little busy bee the last couple nights. You can move forward a couple steps but it seems that you have to go back a step or two at the same time. Put the hood hooks on both the hull and hood as well as the hood straps. Also got the turf done with a lot of help from Steve @ Fast...
You can't wait, imagine how I feel!!!!
For those of you who don't know Moto360, aka Patch Motors, aka Pat, he is the reason why my ski runs. For those of you who have ridden my skis in the past or are going to ride this new beast, he is the one you can blame for never wanting to get off of...
Thank you guys for all the comments! The pictures don't do the color any justice, it looks really dark in the photos.
Xeon, the color in person is awesome. Brightens up a bit once you get it out of the booth. No matter what camera I use the pictures just don't come out right, I think I...
Well it took about 3 days but it's painted! Had a little issue with the paint supplier or it would have been done Sunday. I can not thank Steve, Murph and of course my brother Aaron enough for all the help they gave me on this. Sunday I was highly motivated until I opened the first paint that...
Came home yesterday to a box full of stuff from Fast Elements. Can't say thank you enough to Steve @ FE for all the help he has given me so far on this build. Everything I asked for he had in stock and even gave me some choices on a few parts. Decided to go with the Xmetal scupper and...
