Dump in at freeport, bring a gas can and throw it on the beach right by the inlet, and ride back around when you need gas or a break. My friends and i have tried everything short of posing as fishermen and leaving the truck with polls in the back and beach carting our skis into the water.

I think im gonna start off with the axel "flip" and see what the height looks like... I'll also see if i can get rid of the bunk mounts to lower the ski that way. Then take her to the ramp and see where im at. I have a beach cart i can bring with me, but its just something else i have to worry...

Im def gonna need to do the drop hitch trick but still need to solve the problem of the trailer itself being too high and having to dunk it too far into the water.

I'm really not sure what happened at all, I went up, went to stab the thing and when I came down I had no hood, I though it flew off upon inpact but you guys saw it from the beach you would know better then me... As for kicking the latch I don't think so my feet are fine I don't have any scrapes...
