Cool trick I found was cut about a 1/2" piece of 3/8 water hose and use it as a spacer for the bottom tapped part of pole.... Keeps the pad from being stressed or pulled in / flexing.
This is THE pad for the KP pole owners who are OCD like me... The cleanest ...
And @Knoxie should be looked...
@yurkanip
Got a KP chinpad from him.
He told me it would be a week bc he did not have any of the color I wanted.
I asked him to make it extra clean bc I'm weird like that.
Next day he says he made one that night and sends a pic of a suppppperr clean chinpad
Good seller, quick replies, buy...
Pull a spark plug out check spark when cranking, then disconnect Start switch plug and test spark when cranking again...
It might spark for a second and then stop, that is your start stop switch.
Did you end up cutting the insert out
Edit ** I can't read...Ok i did the same. Another option for people interest you can add thick foam to clear the insert because rickters are fairly roomy height wise
Yeah. I had to with another aluminum tank. Imagine this would be the same scenario. Used a handsaw really fine tooth flexible blade and did it by hand... Then sanded it to a smoother finish.
Just cut the nub off don't mess with the reinforced patch, because later if you sell hull or something...
I agree with ya! My skis not worth that much holy cow ya maybe we are on different ends of the spectrum lol!!
By liability I meant if the unthinkable happends and I hit someones craft or hurt someone.
Your probably right...some have am hull makes on file - typically only mainstream ones like rickter, hurricane and say they will pay out what the value is of other rickters/ hurrkcanes are at that time..
Take it for what it is it's your ski not mine, at the end of the day 250-300 a year is not...
There are alot of insurance companies doing it, but no one will tell you because of the bandwagon effect. Call around (alot) you will find one. Then keep it secret lol
Well it's a rickter thread so thats all ill really say.
Rickters are hands down the best fit and finish, easiest to assemble and have the highest resale value.
