Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I have a jet works valve and some ideas as to how to move water around. I have no desire to be the the loud guy on the lake.

Sort of. The pipe goes all the way into the back wall and then had slots cut into it. Then one more baffle sort of and that's it. I can't imagine this will do much for sound sadly

Yes it's very short. It fits perfect in my short nose. I want to run a full size fuel tank so space is at a premium. Waiting on my exhaust down pipe to be done at the welder so I can hear it all.

I don't think you realize how much room is in a 300 engine bay. The last piece of my pipe is at the weld shop getting the exit flipped around.
As far as why I'm using this exhaust. A B pipe is 700$ this was 25$

I'm gonna to be running a wet jet exhaust in my 300sx- 701 conversion. Anyone ever ran the wet jet exhaust with a girdled head? Can I ditch the bracket that bolts the pipe to the head? Will the band clamps be enough to Hold the exhaust?

Sorry. A picture would help. This is kind of what I'm talking about. Obviously my foot holds aren't as nice but I'm more referring to the wedging in front of them

I'm working on a frankenski currently. I'm debating on building up wedge in the turf in front of the foot holds like I see on a lot of skis around here.
Do most of you guys like that? Does it feel funny since your foot is always at an angle?
Do you have and issues with your toes smashing into...
That's exactly what I did. I had extra epoxy from laying my carbon fiber. I poor it in there and let it self level. I have pictures on my "yet another square nose restore" thread.
I just have the generic one from hydroturf like the old 550s have. It actually works great. Its very stiff until your hood molds a groove in it. But once it sets in place it works great.
Not being a smart ass, but are you sure you put the carb back together correctly. I know its pretty self explanatory but I just hade the same issue on a guys ski, and I had put the pump plate on upside down. He was standing there watching me and I wasn't paying close enough attention. At first...
Yeah that's a fair price. But I bet you could get into a sit down with that stuff for somewhere in the 1500$ range. Thinking around 1000 for the sit down and roughly 500 for a used b pipe.
