Well guys the thing runs like a bat out of hell now! No issues whatsoever. Thanks for all the info I can finally ride the ski I bought hahaha. Even though I pancakes the cr*p out of it. Need to learn how to spin flat and not sideways haha. Again thanks for all the info!!
Happy riding, Alex...
First your gonna want to get a backpack or make sure your tray is hella wide. Then find a set of giant balls. Have them on your person at all times. Now what your gonna want to do is grab throttle and hope those balls do there job. Hahaha just messing with yy man. It’s gonna be a big difference...
So one of the sleeves was up 8 thousands which was pushing the entire head crooked. The sleeves were completely seated then the cylinders were decked like 10 thousands. Pretty minimal. Engine is back together and everything went good. Advance for anyone wanting to build one of these engines, the...
Thank you very much. Should have listened the first five times anyone told me to get these. Seems like they are gonna be the closest fit that I can epoxy in. Probably end up cutting off the threaded part for a more open flow.

The plugs that were in the hull are recessed because of the way the ride plate mounts. I’m worried the way the veriplugs stick out that they may not work properly or simply break off

I’m just so self conscious of doing something wrong and ending up with a sinking rock for a ski. Ik the foam isn’t gonna keep it completely up but it might give me hay extra time to get towed or pull it to the side of the river. You know just being a pu**y

Took the jugs to my guy and they are insanely far off. No way the head was going to seal. So he’s going to press the sleeves to make sure they are completely seated then deck it flat. Since I had the barrels off I decided hey why not take the cases out of the hull to...
Alright opinion time peeps. Since my motor is having work done I decided to clean up the hull a little. One thing led to the next and now it’s completely bare. One of the last owners filled the space between the tray and bilge with two part foam and it’s completely waterlogged. Got one side...
I’m a lot more worried about the drains letting water in then out. I’d like to be able to sit on the water without having to keep the bilges running to keep the ski from going under.

Does anyone think just straight up plugs would be a better idea? I’ve heard mixed reviews of the versiplugs but have no experience with them myself. Would rather have the hull sealed up in the back and use my bulge pumps than have water constantly coming in when not moving.

[emoji23]if I would have known then it would have been done haha. Hopefully I don’t need to do this again but it’s always good to know the correct way to check thank you.
