B pipe off a Superjet I took apart. All screws turn freely and it’s in really nice shape. Comes with couplers, clamps, manifold, snail, and chamber, everything that’s in the picture.
I think piston speed, crank angle, and side loading are what causes the most wear. I have seen a motor build with a lot of side play where the wrist pin goes through the rod. This would enable the rod to twist creating a catastrophic failure.
There are a lot of 4mil and 10mil motors out there...
The carbs that were listed above are pretty high dollar. What are you building or having built. Also whoever you buy carbs from should give you a good starting point. If you got 1200-1400 for carbs I’d assume you can afford a ported “motor built 30 years ago”.
