If you get it, I have a few stators here and probably a whole e-box. I would guess it is either the stator or coil, but it should not be anything major. Run a compression test and see what you get. Should probaby be 170 or so with a head, but just check and see if both cylinders are equal...

You can do a quick check in the Mikuni manual and it will tell you based on your N/S and spring combo approximately what your pop off will be.

That sounds like a good deal to me, it would likely bring about $1500 on ebay. I will be back in Mooresville on Tuesday, I would be happy to come take a look at it and identify any flaws/aftermarket and help you make up your mind! -Kurt

Chuck - That fuel pump has 2 outlets; but you say to "T" them together? I think Luke has each outlet running to one carb - this is not the right way?

No, the regular SJ OEM FA setup has no fitting on it - only the some WRIII and VXR bases do - it is intended to be used for oil injection but would work great for a primer. It cannot simply be bolted on, as the Riva carb has a pressed on bell, not the regular 4 bolt SBN setup...

Here is a solution for you - Get an OEM Yamaha flame arrestor setup, and run it with a Virgin aftermarket adapter setup (the one with the hose adapter thing). You could tap a primer fitting into that. Or.... Get an OEM VXR/WRIII flame arrestor base (has oil injection fitting on it). Take...
