Truthfully, I'm trying build something that is OEM-like reliable, but hauls ass, or at least a nice kick to the rear while on the seat.

I'm definitely trying to keep it light. So, doing the research, I am leaning away from the 1100 or 1200 swaps.

Thanks for the info guys! I'll Be going with 80 ft/lbs on the crank bolt tomorrow. Now, with a replaced stock oem flywheel, will the timing need to be adjusted? Or bolt and go?

Well, I'm in the market for a flywheel it seems. Progressivly the timing went out of tune due to the shearing of the woodruff key for the flywheel to crank. The crank keyway is ok, but the flywheel needs replaced. Anybody have any suggestions on which route to take? Dealer OEM is $365 for...

A Factory pipe is in the works now.... I was thinking of holding the RIVA red, and machining(or welding) and converting the three-bolt flange to a "coupler" design on the mani and expansion chamber. I dont see why this shouldn't work so long as there is enough meat on the pipe to work with...If...

Anyone interested in a RIVA Red pipe? I'm going to let this one go and purchase something more in my field. I dont ride often enough to have my motor out and on a bench 4 days after I purchase a ski :( I dont look forward to doing this again...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with an aftermarket B-pipe, I will be utilizing an OEM exhaust manifold/gasket? If thats the case, I am in need of one (and what else?) ! Which brand/pipe shall I be leaning toward for low end power? Forgive the newb-like question, this is my first time in YEARS...
