Are the mid shaft bearings the same for an fx=1 as a sj? I know the mid shafts themselves our different. The fx-1 shaft on right and sj on left. Please help. Thanks

I started to take this 701 motor apart today and noticed the cases and intake say 6m6 on them. 6m6 is from a 650 correct? The cases look to be machined to look just like the 61x cases i have here. But the intake is also different see pics. The cylinders and head both say 61x on them from the...

So i picked up this fx-1 and started tearing into her and look what i found under that purple wrapping paper. DAMN IT! What do you think is the best way to go about fixing this? The rail itself is almost broke off.

This crank was said to be new last year ,forgot to winterize and it got a little rust on it. The rod bearing is a little sloppy with a hint of grinding and the 2 other bearings seem rough also,see pic. What are my options,can this be fixed? How much? Should i just look for a different crank...
