I did look at jetmaniacs but I honestly don't have 120 for a starter. I have another spare starter that I am having rebuilt just in case.

well i found the culprit, what i smelled was the wiring in my starter frieing itself. i pulled it out and it smelt like when my step dads truck burnt down. i went ahead and ordered a new starter on ebay. i couldnt even hand turn the starter, i think it welded itself.

I hooked e battery directly to the starter and still nothing so I think it's safe to assume its a bad starter? I'm removing it right now, what's a starter going to run me? I was thinking of getting sbt?

Okay so I just pulled the exhaust of and found a loose positive wire on the starter. I tightend it but I'm still getting the same results as before. The solenoid is just clicking away. Any other suggestions? I have no idea what it could be. It's getting aggravating

Yes I can spin the coupler no problem. Its not locked up at all. I'm not sure if I have any corrosion everything in the ski is clean. I guess ill pull it again and check all the wires. And thanks guys I appreciate the help. I'm hoping to get it running by Wednesday

I jumped the battery. I only tried bypassing the solenoid with a screw driver. With no result. I just hooked up the jumper cable. Same result. Just a heavy clicking noise from the solenoid
