The head still goes on the top of the cylinder; adding those tubes won't allow you to wrap it around the exhaust ports...

It's not like you went from a 1/4" diameter tube to 3/4"! How is it the cables fault for hitting the pump? If you throw that cable in the trash, please throw it in my trash can...

Sorry, tapatalk didn't tell me about all these replies! I assumed it's epoxy because of the color. Aren't polyester resins usually greenish...? The color has also faded a lot over 23 years, so using the original pigment isn't very useful or worth the hassle in my opinion.

Manufacturer, Maxum, has been out of business a while now, and the boat is a 1994...
