I would not recommend the one that just bots onto the outside. It makes the pole really light low down, but up higer it barely does anything. It torques kinda funny too, and just looks crappy. Maybe I had a crappy one, but that was my experience with it.

I agree, new ones should be fine. I've though about modifying old mounts so that the bolts go to the base metal piece instead of directly to the rubber. The rubber should still dampen vibration, right? Then the mounts would be much tougher.

I'm getting there! all i did was ask why Javeirt99 was banned, and I got a nasty PM from SBT saying, "stir the crap one more time, and you're out!". Now that I posted that, i'll prolly get banned. That would be pretty lame though. So, does anyone know why he was banned? Was there a legit reason?
