I guess you gave up on the Viper 9000 motor idea, huh :) If you want to drive up to Sebastian you can see how we did it in my X2 or we can do the conversion for you if you bring your hull.
Any new developments? Not to hijack the thread, but I'm having similar problems with my 95 Superjet, in addition to hard starting. Rather than start a new thread I figured maybe I could revive this one so as to not recreate the wheel...
I've got the old-school Factory Pipe with only top and...
Got an email back from Solas - its a 12/17 pitch. Seems to work okay on my ski (stock 701 w/ Factory Pipe and water box). I haven't ever ridden another SuperJet so I don't really have a good baseline to compare to, though.
Okay it makes more sense now. I only have half of the already weak stock setup. The pole feels like it weighs a ton compared with my 550. Would the single Blowsion spring work well with the AC Racing pole?
Just picked up this 95 SuperJet. I figured out that it has an AC Racing pole, but I don't know the stock measurements to tell if its a stock length or -2. Also, I don't think it has the right spring. It wasn't holding the pole up at all. I took a pic of how it was installed and also a pic of the...
Thanks for all the help. The headpipe says "Mariner Factory Pipe". Are you saying that Factory Pipe made this one? Does anybody know the port diameter on the B pipe so I can open this one up?
Aaron,
Thanks for your advice. If I understand correctly, you're saying I should run the line from the head to the bottom fitting (Closest to the coupler), and run the pisser/stinger line from the top fitting (closest to the manifold). I've read the instructions that Factory puts on their...
I just picked up a 95 SuperJet to replace my trusty Kawasaki 550. Both skis have BN44s. The SJ came with a Riva flame arrestor with a wire mesh/cotton guaze construction. Its a little dirty and ratty looking but no holes in the filter.
The 550 has a K&N oval flame arrestor with a...
Okay I think I understand the plumbing now but still confused on the adjusters. There is one next to the bottom barb (which I'm assuming will be the line in from the head), and there is one at the very top.
Just graduated from my Kawi 550 to a 95 SuperJet that needs a little work. Before I put it in the water I want to make sure the waterlines are plumbed right and the carb settings are in the ballpark.
Its got a Mariner pipe on it but I can't find any information on it anywhere. It looks...
