I have towed wakeboarders behind my SN Superjet many times, its a lot of fun, the guy boarding can drag your back end around pretty easily by cutting over hard but if you are good enough you can stand up and tow at the same time. It a good little challenge on both your parts to keep going

I had that happen on my SN. It was the bendix. All I did was take off the front cover and soak it down with some WD40. It has worked great ever since.

What year SN is it? If I remember correctly the pumps on the old SNs are not as strong as the newer hulls.
