i just realized sbt does not list a crank for a 91 sx but ive read about people using the 440 crank because its stronger. what parts are interchangable from the reed and pp motors. i read the head bolt patterns are different but what about the exhaust manifold and crank which i need.
Are the reed motors common and cheap enough to make it not worth rebuilding. I was under the impression that anyone with a reed motor keeps it because of the rarity and or power in comparison to the pp motor.
it is a reed motor and i have a coffman half pipe so i think i need a stock exhaust manifold but not sure. i will rebuild it my main concern is cylinder work i will just get it done locally if i dont have any other options but like i said id like to send it to someone who knows what they are...
