oh dang! I should have guessed. That happened to me last season with my Protec Mach II... Glad you found it! I don't blame you for wanting to ride over wrench. I am thinking about buying a TR1 SJ for just that reason.
Check the internal fuel filter and all the jets for cloggs. it's not the temp sensor, and if it's bogging then eventually "flames out" (shuts off?) then i would not think it is electrical. This sounds fuel related.
I had to use a ratchet strap to pull the bolt into alignment with the hole because the spring was trying to hard to put the bolt towards the nose of the ski. I would tap the bolt with a mallet, check alignment, ratchet the bolt into position (or release it, depending on alignment) and repeat...

This is such an awesome thread. I have an M1 with a ported 701, PFP, and Dual 46. I have only pole breathers. On top of this, probably 10% of the cross sectional area of said breathers is taken up by cables. Maybe i will take a quick rip with the hood off to see if it makes a difference. Close...
