Thank you King Kang and Vortex for your input and advice. King Kang advised to remove the B pipe chamber and fuel tank prior to the sponson install, a must do to avoid drilling into the chamber and fuel tank. "Measure 5 times and drill once" a wise man once said :-).

any tips and advice to help me install a new throttle cable in my SN? Can it be done with the fuel tank in place?

I had the same issue. Solution? Ride more and get your weight forward in the tray. More throttle also helped.

What am I supposed to do with this thing? Installing a Worx Dominator rideplate and there is no mount for this. Is there a mod to make to the 1990 bilge system? I already have a rule bilge pump installed by the coupler.

Installed the b pipe on my 650 sn today. New top end installed too. How do I run the engine on the stand. With the stock exhaust it had a garden hose type fitting. I don't see how to connect the flush kit fitting with the b pipe. I need some direction so I can test run the engine.

My little 650 will have to do for now. New topend, milled head, ported cylinder, B Pipe, match ported manifold, proper jetting, prop and I'm good to go for next season. I say run the 650 if thats what you have. This forum needs a 650 section.
