    Does anyone have a dummies how to step by step on wiring two bilge pumps to a blowsion handle bar bilge switch. With parts needed. I have the switch, tubing and two bilge pumps.

    Fitted my advent into electrical box, the only problem i have is that there is one pink wire left coming out of the advent with no were to connect to (that i can see). Is this wire in here for another purpose, i cant see anthing in the instructions relating to this?

    Thanks Supertune I did get instructions with the part but it was just a bit tricky getting my head round it as i am just picking it up as i go along, your post makes it alot easier to understand. The part i have is d23 which when i go onto the Advent site gives me the curve which i have posted...

    took 5 thou of the squish and the compression came down about 8 psi so the ski is still running around 192ish psi. advent should be here soon so think i will just take it easy up top until it gets here then get it set to retard a bit up top.

    i am changing my pump bearings and seals. i took my old ones out and it was a few days before i got my new ones my question is, when putting the seals back in which one goes on first the thin one or the thick one, and which way faces down towards the bearing?

    thats a good idea with the gasket, find the compression wanted using gasket thickness and then machine the domes instead of taking two or three attempts at the domes themselves. you learn something new every day.

    in this case then if i took the squish to 55 thou would this make a noticable difference in compression and if so is it possible to say how much?

    so if i wanted to lower the compression for this set of domes, would i need to get the radius of the dome machined again or would i be able to lower the compression by altering the squish, if you know what i mean? or would the whole dome need altered in this case?

    took the squish reading on both cylinders front of front cylinder is 0.050 back of f/c is 0.045 front of b/c is 0.050 back of b/c is 0.053 do these squish readings seem ok for the compression that is being put out?
