Media options for refoam.....?

To get rid of the wet foam, what is a great alternative to replace it with that WILL NOT retain any water...? I see some people going for the " no foam " at all and just leave it hollow.... How do you keep the strength with no foam? My buddys new xft and waterdawg hulls are hollow and light as feather but how do I keep the strength in my superjet....? Sorry for the newb question but I am just trying to get my ski on a diet... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Extruded polystyrene. You can buy a sheet of it for beer money (literally under $10), it does not absorb water.
Cut pieces to fit your ski.

My buddy is a thick & heavy guy. He chose not to use foam in his FX but instead added some extra bulkheads for support with no problems after a couple years. Check out after post # 12 in his build:

reinforce the tray area with cloth and resin, then install drain plugs and inner tubes you can air up with valve stems outside the hull.
