That's what I keep hearing/reading.

A big minus on the HEAT is the total lack of adjustability. You get the curve that Jetinetics thinks is best for all skis, and that's it.

I just finished putting a hand-me-down that has the heat system on it. When I ride it this summer, I'll let you know.

I just burned 23 gallons in Oregon surf on my ATP Flame total loss. Zero issues.

well, my HEAT stood up to sitting in a yard in Florida for 15+ years, just started it up for the first time today. We shall see how it holds up.

I don't think the "junk" comment was intended as a bash for it durability. they're saying that it is very limited regarding adjustments.
