road ready beach cart tires

SKI TILL I DIE!

YUMMMMMMMY
Hey guys just bought a big foot cart off a guy for a great price but the tires are garbage. I don't have a trailer so i've been lookin like crazy to see if i could get a pair of tires that i can drive to the beach (about a mile :bananajump:)
and will also work just like the standard tire on the beach.

Maybe nothing like this exists and im just crazy...but i guess what im looking for would look like a fat ATV tire???

Thanks for all the help
Brad

There are short and fat trailer tires similar to beach tires available that will handle hwy speeds no problems, the problem will be adapting an axle with bearings to the beach cart frame.

Well a I don't need anything more than will take 35MPH...I remember seeing a guy at the beach once that was out there by himself and all he had was a big foot trailer and his car..I remember seeing the tires and they worked for him at the beach but they had tread on them....I was assuming he was loading it up and towing it back home from the beach

too light with no suspension....will fly over bumps and crack the weak aluminum structure...no chance

LOL. I never thought of that but I can see the ski and trailer bouncing wildly while going down the road.

Trailers for something the size of a stand up are typically pretty cheap and fairly abundant. Just keep your eyes open and don't be afraid to build some bunks out of 2x4's if a good deal pops up that isn't a jetski trailer.

I put wide tires on one of my trailers, and use a trailer dolly with balloon tires. Two people (one pushing, one pulling and steering) can easily move it around on the beach. I havent tested it in soft sand though, because the beach I use is shale rock covered.

If you were talking a half mile at 15mph that would be one thing, but anything more than that and buy a trailer. When I raced, a lot of times the pits were quite a ways from the beach so we would tow the totes back and forth with quads all day long.
