I was more curious than going to use it. I already have teflon tape, but there was slag flopping abound the headder pipe and I had to remove a fitting to get it out. FPP uses that stuff for all fittings.

Use, PST liquid pipe thread sealant. ( it's what FPP uses) It can be purchased thru better plumbing supplies, (not home depot or lowes) It has many benifits. it's an anti-seeze, thread locker, waterproofer. The guys who ride salt water, can use it on all threaded bolts to stop salt intrusion/electrolisis. make maintaince a breeze.
