Funny how fashion changes. Dropping it off to the professionals in the morning for black and white.

Matched mani to cylinders and opened it up the to 46/47 mm it was at 42/43.

Pump is ready to install with a 9/17 Skat and $49 pump cone of ebay. Not sure how many degrees of throw I have. I did trim the flange for more throw.

Got rid of the stock metal reeds. Opened up head pipe to 46/47 mm and match to mani. Jetted carb.

Carb Specks:
46 mm SBN
12psi popoff w/2.3 needle & seat
117.5 low speed jet
145 high speed jet
low screw out 1/2 turn
high screw out 1 1/2 turns

I understand where the high price comes from on a built turn key ski!

I have a 44 mm Carb, intake and reeds for sale.

Its getting into the fun part of the build. At least I can wear some clean clothes to work in now.

Picked up handle pole parts today. The local place did a nice job power coating.

I know this is alot of work but you made it look easy.

It is easy! Just have to have the want to! If I can do it out of my small tool box any one can do it.

My steering didn't center up with the trim. After a few PM's I learned that you will need a SeaDoo ball joint connecter on the pump end of the cable. The stock Yami one is 3/8 to 1/2'" short. So add it to your list of things you will need on your 650 pump mod if you want trim!
I'm waiting on a order from Parker and Blowsion to finish up. I was hoping it would be here on Friday. I'm glad it didn't show. It gave me time to do the fu fu stuff and do it right. Other wise I probably would have rushed to finish and it would have been no reason for me too.

I'm thinking the stock hood may look better?

I washed/cleaned out the inside of the hull and filled it up with water just to see the one-way's work. Dang! It dumps the water FAST! Hope they don't have a leaking problem. I will do my best to keep from dropping Zip Ties or anything else in the hull.
