New Cascade Helmet... w/ expand fit system

my second Cascade helmet that was given to me by someone off the site.. Can't remember who it was now... Anyway, the first one lasted 3-4years and that's way longer than I have gotten on any helmet...

The nice thing about this helmet is it has an air bladder in it that can be adjusted to the perfect fit. check the second pic and you can see how the pump attaches to the helmet..

I got to figure something out for that... I taped the last ones up w/ duct tape... might see if I can find it in red..

you can get it w/ the pre-mounted face mask... I recommend doing that unless you want to do it like mine. I switched out the hardware to 10-32 SS bolts and nylock nuts... no chance of corrosion..

MAKE SURE IT"S FULL COVERAGE OVER THE EAR!!!!!!!

Cascade lacrosse helmet all the way - I LOVE mine. That air bladder systems looks great - too bad mine is still in great shape!

I used to play lacrosse in hs that one was the cascade air they stopped making them as far as i know about 4 years ago. I think i have one in my old gear bag at home. As far as i know the newer ones come with like add in padding.

Nice, those chin strap plastic buckles are a big plus too. Duct tape > glass. I've used stickers over the ear vents too but blew one out right through the middle once.

What I did with mine which works great....


Take a piece of lexan or plastic (even a piece of a junked gas tank), Drill a bunch of Tiney holes, 1/8" or less, then just rivit the piece over the ear holes.


Protects your ears, small wholes doesnt let water rush in at high pressure, and still leaves it open to a bit of sound. i dont like the idea of other ski's sneakin up on me.
