X2 guys dont throw backies. Legdragger was the only one I have even seen attempt it, and he crashed hard.
There was alot of busted X2's on the beach though...LOL Surprisingly my X2 outlasted my SJ. 60 some days in the surf last year and the only thing I have done to it was ziptie the battery down when the bat box broke.

I should have bummed a ride on one. I saw a couple nice running ones out there, and a bunch of not so nice running ones going back and forth from the trailer to the water all day.

Shougrider, I think is his name, is trying backies on his. He said he was close to getting them, and he flips his SJ. Must be a little different. This was at the Surf Slam, so he may have it down by now. Seems like it's just commitment, I didn't have it! Maybe if I can get them on the SJ I'll eventually try it out on someones X2. Mine was built up pretty solid, and I don't think it would have lasted through I backflip pancake.

At wavedaze Craig was rolling his X2 I guess I didn't see it.
As far as broke down skis it's all about winter work time doing things right so you can ride in the warm weather!

Yeah, Mine was one of them... no hood mod to keep the water out... LOL

bought out of a salvage yard, 2 river rides, then straight to Daytona.

My standup ran great tho.

what are you taking about? i was out there for over 12 minutes! tim went though a whole tank of gas.

i hate salt but i am ready for round 2.

I feel the same. Is your coil upgraded by JSS? If you have time to do it you should. He rebuilt a starter sil for me too.

hey wadman, did you ever rebuild the big bore X-2 yoou bought off of Pete? The one with the PCM motor? I heard you bought it and was wondering if it came back to life yet.
