where to buy automotive trim for bond rail?

I hate turfed bond rails so I want to try the auto trim some people use. where do you find it?

any auto paint supply store, about 30.00 for 1 1/2 ski's

just apply 5200 between the 3m sticky tape and let it cure for 2-3 days at it will stay on
i use it on my race boats.

Gotchya Thank's. Most all body shop's have trim in stock on bulk roll's That might be the easiest thing to do, at least you could see it before you buy it. Good Luck

Can you guys post pictures? I know what the trim looks like but can't picture it on a ski. I don't think I would turf the rails on my new ski it is only for sitting on the hood. Which I only do for maybe 1 minute a year.

I like my rails turfed just so I dont have to worry about chipped paint. Never seen the auto trim stuff though.

Go to your local automotive paint supply store and look at the samples. I used the one inch CM44 black molding from Trim-Guard and ordered it through CMK-Trim for around 18 bucks for a 26-foot roll. Be sure to fill in the screw holes with epoxy and the bottom edge bond rail seams to keep the water from getting behind the adhesive. Also sand the edge of the bond rail and prep it with acetone so the tape will adhere permanently.

I was planning on turfing my rails soon but this may be better. What do you guys do at the nose? My oem bumper is ripping where the bolts mount so i need to replace it anyways

try this/ 1/2 inch 3-m door trim , I just protects from dock damage and has been on for 4 years
