by chance anyone find my go pro cam

i tried to barrell roll the ole blaster and ended up racking my head into the side of the ski, had a lanyard on it, but it ripped off in 8 ft of water on the south of the ridezone on satruday. i tried to dive for it but it wasnt workin out. didnt know if it had washed up by chance. if not i guess i have to update to the hd one

i wraped one around the caseing just for that reason...and then ziptied another one through the loop around a hole in my helmate in case the mount came lose

That is why I am leary of getting a Gopro and using it on the ski. Been thinking about one for Mountain Biking.

you just have to make sure its mounted securely. i have mine strapped on with the wrist mount on the helmet, ziptied to the helmet and i have an old lanyard connected to the case of the cam. its not going anywhere.

But i had to lose an oregon sci cam to the atlantic first to figure out i needed to strap it to the helmet pretty good.

Yup. One zip tie around the case and then I zip tie a key chain floaty on the back. If it comes off the tether, it just floats right along. The floaty is bright yellow so that it is easy to spot.

well i had a steel lanyard strapped to the case and screwed into my helmet. i thought it would hold, it was racked pretty hard before and only broke the mount, but not this time. guess im goin HD

this is the best way to go for jetski use ,the wrist mount case is different and when put around the face bar of the helmet its not going anywhere,teathers will snap just like this upon a big enough impact
