Damn - $35 is a little too rich for me !

Oh it gets alot cheaper if you go a mile south. There are many $25 a night hotels. But be warned....lol

we are staying at the driftwood agian, us canadians are tough the driftwood is not the prettist spot , but we are in the middle of the action

thats how we rolled down the first year 08. no res just pointed south and figured it out on the way. it worked out great with a ocean view room in coral beach.
and the couple that was with us was nice enough to go scrogg in the van the whole weekend. they only came out to shower & ride.

That's too bad they wouldn't let you watch huh ?

There was a joint a bit north that looked nice. I think at one point there was talk of them hosting some shin-dig for us.

We had great time in the driftwood last year. drunk out of my skull.
I wanted to be in maki this year but dropped the ball. I called & left messages a couple weeks ago but then the holidays got me distracted.

that place for 35 a night might be the ticket. At least its close to the party. I wonder if I will hear the guys racing the mini bikes around the mini golf course parking lot from there.

after reading some reviews on it,,,,, you get what you pay for. urine on the walls, hair in the tub & holes in the towels????? it could very well be a dirtier hotel than the Maki.

I'll just have to see whats available when we get there.

i just read some recent reviews and they are mostly negative, so it might have changed. we had a good time though, and they tolerated a lot from us last year with no problems

check out the comfort inn 507 s. atlantic ave...about a quarter mile north, 386-677-8550 stayin there, somewhat of a guarentee of cleanlinest!???

stayed there last year. its very clean and has a beach entrance right next to the parking lot. 7-11 is also right across the street for coffee and donuts in the morning and beer at night

lmaorof, It looks like I will have my own supply.

I called this morning & found that the night help at all these hotels are lazy efers. I just booked an inside room at the Maki for 74 a night. We will get in late on thursday night, ride fri, sat & sun. leave sun afternoon and stay somewere on the way back. get home mon somtime.

The coral has available rooms on multiple floors.

I just got a room at the Coral Roach Motel... Sounds like they still have more rooms.
$63.75 - only downside is the 3 day minimum thing.

Just thought it was a good way to keep them warm.
It is rather time consuming as I can only do one finger at a time but drastic times (arctic freeze) call for drastic measures.
