thats BS i know of MANY other spots that are way worse than pismo, pismo is just an average beach break and just like any other break. it has its on and off days. i seriously doubt slater would make such a douchey comment as that.

I guess you missed the point and yes, he did say that.

I was making the point that people travel for whatever surf.. it doesn't matter because people like to ride in the damn surf....

Infamy made the comment that he would not ride 3000 miles for crappy surf.. It was a response to that comment. Both spots are not known for great surf but we ride there and it's cool...

all im saying is that if i did go to daytona, it wont be for the surf, it'll be to party... and no i wont drive 3000 miles but maybe fly.
even when i went to florida for stuntwars i shipped my bike out there and flew.

I am going camping at pismo for the weekend of the 22nd thru the 24th. I think Keith and Infamy may go. The more people the better. Enzo, Brett, Stan, Kraqus, you guys down? Any one else?

im down....i'll probably just roll out there after i get off work saturday and stay through sunday or monday or as long as my ski permits :fingersx:

So far it is a Daytrip for me on Saturday but I am working on making it an overnighter.

i tried to find the interview with that comment..they asked him where the worst place he ever surfed was..he said pismo haha...actually pismo is one of the most fun places to ride a standup as the inside reform is perfect for blasting reentries..what makes it suck for surfing makes it good for skis

I do agree, jet skis can enjoy a much crappier wave than a surfboard
