take your hoodstraps off and get sucked over the falls on a 10ft wave..swim your sunken ski in minus the hood..problem solved haha..thats how i fixed mine

instead of glassing the liner after that trip, you only had to glass the whole bottom of you boat. haha

yea dont ask me how that happened....matt im sure if u just packed filler inbetween the liner and hood it would be fine

I used some high strength epoxy like panel fusor, or the two part glue that Wammer sells... both are a bit expensive, but no more separation.

west systems with 404/405 . Grove out the cracks and pour it in.
I should add that I am in no way bitching about this hood.
I bought it used three years ago and I've been hard on it. I learned surf backflips and barrel rolls with it.
Jeff PM'd me about an hour ago offering to take care of this.
That's a pretty damn good indication of customer service. I won't take him up on the offer because the damage really isn't that bad, it's just the liner starting to come unglued. Also, I ride all winter and I don't want to miss out on any riding time.

same as big kahuna said grove the cracks out good wipe down with acetone. 404 with west system pour and add a peice of biax fixed better then new

As always, never use anything that doesnt require a hardner, EVER. Id use something that is slow hardning so you can heat it up and get it to really run down in everywhere it can. If you try to heat som 5 min stuff it will kick to fast (and get REALLY hot). 3m panel bond is what I would use. 50bux a tube though. I glue quarter panels and door skins on with it everyday. Welding is for the birds.

matt i had the same prob with myn a while back fully ripped the linear out and found that the 2 were not keyed up it had to shiny surfaces so nothing will really bond to it so had to scuff it up to get a good surface then wet up some stripes of carbon fine weave and layed them in down the sides and around the air intakes as well so they werere fully blocked off then cut in breathers later and mixed up resin with filler/glue powder and smeared it in the front and around the latch area where they also meet

same situation happened.. here is the fix Steve did on my WCF hood. He grinded out the out bonding material, and used epoxy and a filler to thicken it up.
solid as a rock (before I sold the hull/hood).
