Steering cable differences

I recently purchased a steering cable from a board member. He thought it was a 96-07 superjet cable, turns out it's a little long. I don't have any pics of it, as I'm not at home at the moment, but heres the deal:
The longer ends/pump ends, I'm almost positive matched up. The pole/turnplate ends were different. The new cable was approx. 1.5" longer on top. Seems like the overall length was only a little different, with my odd cable being a just a little longer, possibly 1.5" longer.
Any ideas as to what cable I've got? I'd like to resell it/trade it for what I need. It's in GREAT condition, and I bought it for $65. Thanks in advance.

either an SN cable or an 08+ cable, but I think an SN cable the overall length is longer - not in the threaded ends.

so - most likely and 08+ cable.

Look for a part number.....could be of the couch kind

Thanks. He was pretty sure they hadn't parted any 08+'s, seems like they are the same as the fx1's, could be way off.
I'll look for a part number, didn't even think of that.. lol. I'll check when I go home this weekend.

An 08+ cable would be SHORTER on the top.

A sq. nose cable is about 3" longer than a rn. Otherwise they are both the same. 08-10 cable is like FX1 shorter on top.
