they work great on the x2's. you should turn it straight so its not stressing the throttle cable.
Its not, I couldn't get it to die out, even after a really long fountain.

Yea, also thinking of a 61x or 62t conversion.
No, just trying to see if it would flame out, it won't. My old FA sucked for water even with outerwear.
i wasnt saying it would die out. im just saying that the position of the f/a looks like its causing the cable to take a sharp bend around it in order to get to the carb.

I have my F/A turned forward like crab's but my throttle cable is really tweeked hard against the head on the 750 motor. maybe the 750 manifold angles the carb more towards the motor? Anyway, I just bought a cheap 550 throttle cable to pull from the bottom, not from the top, to fix that issue.
Also, if you take of the OEM mikuni throttle 'wheel' and turn it over & upside down you can still use it and not the aftermerket throttle wheel. But that purple wheel sure looks sharp!
