Smaller hulls for surf

Have you heard of anyone using those smaller hulls on surf? Do you think it would hold up the impact?

holding up to the abuse is more related to the construction.

lenzi, rides his in the surf

rickter has great reviews for surf

the shorter hulls ride higher in the nose which is a great for the surf.

too small and you will lose stability, lenzis boat looked incredibly difficult to surf ride.
the rickter rips the surf
stick with stock unless you got money to burn.

I would've thought the FX-1's would be incredibly hard to ride in the surf. Do you like them better?
