Has anybody ever tried to electroplate a crank with a metal that isnt affected by salt water as badly steel like gold silver or nickel?
With a clear acrylic billet cylinder and cases so you can see the motor working and keep track of the wear.Hey....wait a minute!
I want some BLING BLING on my....Pistons!
Im just curious it would save seasonal people from fogging and when you do more then flat water circles super fast salt water happens. Or I can ask what are the coolest shoes ?? or what brand of gloves makes me do cooler tricks ?? OR who has thought about putting SPINNERS on a fuel cap or side rail. BLING
And just a technical FYI: The bearings would have to be plated, balls, rollers, races.
See if you can find some of those.
Nobody cares if the rods or webs get saltwater on them. Unfortunately, once you got water there, it's also on the bearings.
And everyone knows that it's all ball bearings nowadays.
I thought this was all about the BLING.
