How exactly do I "bump" the compression up and how do I know which domes to get?

I have a basic stock SJ Flame arrestors, Solas Prop, intake grate, B-Pipe....nothing crazy! I don't really want to mess anything up and want to keep it as reliable as possible.

Also, how long do you think the total install time should take? (just out of curiosity)

Thanks man!

If your cylinder is stock, that is with out any port work done, than you will want to run 35cc domes. You can get this info from ADARacing.com
As far a time it takes to put it on; If you get a head with a Girdle kit it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours even for your first time. If you are running a non-girdle head an easy 1 hour. After your first time you can do it quicker. Don't get in a hurry, take your time keep things clean, keep all dirt as much as possible out of your cylinders, torque the head slowly. by this I mean come up on full torque easy by starting at say 15ft lbs then 18ft lbs then 20 and so on till you reach the final correct tourqe on the bolts/fasteners. Then when your done Go over them one more time at full correct torque and re-check.
I always like to put about 30-45mins of ride time on it get it up to operating temp and then re check all the bolt agian.
Also wanted to add; follow the torque sequence as is labeled on top of your stock head. The bolts have numbers beside them in relevance to the sequence to be tightned. Here I will give you a pic to look at. The outer Numbers are girdle bolts the inner are around the cylinders them self.

Keep in mind after you raise your compression with this head/domes you will be close to around
180psi up from around 150psi stock, so make sure you run a good quality gas octane like 93 from this point on.

Anyone recommend anything else... or should this keep me rather reliable?

I was curious about how much CC or HP my 07 SJ is putting out with the following only...
- B-pipe
- Flame arrestors
- Solas Prop
- Intake grate

Plus or minus the ADA girdle kit!

Thanks again!

This is the most common and reliable set up out there basically. You should have no major issue's running this set up. Just stay on top of your maintanence and always check every thing before and after you ride. As far as cc'c you will not gain anything, that would be a whole different bag of trick's. However you will gain some very noticable HP with the pipe and Head combined, and tuned good. You may look at getting an MSD Ignition enhancer, or even a light weight flywheel. These will give a bit more bottom end snap as well.
