Sucking in water

In the surf my hood seems to be leaking in a heak of a lot of water im pretty sure its not the air vents that are the issue. Cause what happens is i turn right and water gets sucked in and my ski runs bad for a while then comes right, when i turn left it sucks no water. My hood seems a little uneaven but not to bad. Could it be the seals? Any ideas?

I have blocked off the front hole it seems to be coming in on the right hand side of the hood cause happens when i turn right. Yea dont really want scupper cause i only surf ride.

Cheers i will look in to all that but i run 2 500 bilge pumps so pretty sure the leak is coming straight in and going down the carbs. going to get the blowsion hood kit for the front air hole

I've noticed my bilge doesn't work very well when the ski is moving. There could easily be enough water in your hull to make it run poorly even with the bilges going.

Yea i have noticed that with my bilges to. But when i stop and check there not much water in there at all. really sure its sucking straight in and into the carbs. it must be only the seals and the front hole woulnt it?

Try running it without the hood. This doesn't sound like a hood seal leak at all...and if you are running a stock flame arrestor, that water isn't dumping right into your carbs.

Something just doesn't make sense.
