lowered hood nosepiece design help

I am making a lowered hood, chopped down, widened around the pole, slightly longer rear air intakes( but not long enough to mash my knees into-yeah if its possible I WILL smash into it) and also has the sides shaved to make hood tricks easier.

I'm gonna be running an x-metal lowered bracket and I will be shaping up the nose piece as soon as I go pick it up.

What do I do here? I want something with a little more style than simply flat.

I was thinking to slightly curve up and flat out the top. almost like what is there now. but something is off I think.

maybe just a gentle curve up and then the same curve over. like a lazy s? very smooth and gradual and curvy?

I think your hood is to low to have much character in the nose piece. if you an find a way to start low and flatten out around the bracket that would be nice. hurry up with that hood mold BTW. my cut down stocker is fugly and 800lbs.

funny #0. very funny.

ok now that all the critics and comedians have weighed in I have one reply. thanks WD.

maybe somewhere between flat and raised up? ah well, I will just start shaping it and see where it leads. had the hood all but finished yesterday and I doublechecked with a level and one side was 1/4 inch higher. that was a pita to get back into shape.

I know its a small piece of real estate but it is also the first thing you see and basically starts the hood. so I wanted to make it blend into the hood and pole. If anyone else has some input they want to share, do it quick its probably gonna get shaped up today.

Here's .... an idea.

Looks like you have the line already drawn out.

Not sure if you can tell anything by my 5 minute sketch. The black is the division of the two "bubbles" and the red is the shape.

:dunno:

Kinda looks like the edge of a toilet bowl seat with what you just drew.

I'm with Tim, keep it consistent with your conversion hood noise piece.

sorry guys I already shaped it and decided to make it flow from the hood. I tried to make a few diff shapes and levels and in the end it looked like stuff already out there. so I just decided to smooth it and shape it inwards. its hard to do something new and not over do it in that small a space with the lines it has.

lift the molds soon and then tackle the liner.

the breathers are even with the flat part of the tray.
