Thinking of switching to total loss?

I am hoping so. I'll be installing one over the winter.

Gil: I just popped open my OEM ebox. It was bone dry. That's what I am after for the ATP ignition. I realize you can make the MSD TL work in salt, but the ATP should be easier to set up for that, considering that I ride salt 50% of the time - and I live 320 miles from the ocean!
Once I move there, it will be damn near 100%, and I need good reliability for that.

Don't get me wrong- I totally understand a DRY system. I have not been the best at sealing oem boxes. I have been messin around w/lexan as I get time trying to make a enclosed t/l box that u can look under the hood and see if it has moisture in it or not. To me-that would be the ticket! I am EAGERLY awaiting your install to see how it works for u. It would be nice to have another viable option out there in case MSD were to dump 2 stroke twins someday. Crammit and I have talked about your new system and think u need to install it now so we don't have to wait for the results! lol

I would install it now, but my crank & cylinders are at Jetworks West for rebuild.
I think I'll be out for a few months at a minimum.
Oh, and my finger needs time to heal, too.

I am having to save up some dough for the rebuild, that's why it'll be a few months.
I hope that clears it up.

Thats an IP 68 enclosure, should be able to get them from good electrical wholesalers. Quite a few people use them over here but Keith's is one of the neatest I've seen. Thats a previous generation ATP total loss he's using.
