My cooling lines clogged up with the death sand, so I busted out the vidcam and shot some footage. Breese08SJ (Kenny) 2nd time trying to nail a backy in the Jersey surf this past Friday 9-18-09. SURF WAS AWESOME!!!! We had a killer day of riding, even after fighting with surfers and having cops involved...LOL!!! He gets absolutley DESTROYED after the 2nd attempt.

what motor/pump combo is he running?

looks like he will have them down soon.. just has to flip his head back more and his body will follow.

he got the hard part down... that's sacking up and hitting the face of a 5-7 footer and leaning back..

im still too much of a puss to try it.

About 7miles south of squan inlet. It was hard to not make a motion sickness video at max zoom, but I think it came out pretty cool.

My money is on Kenny riding out a backy the next time out. I only got 2 attempts on vid, but he was getting REAL close.

2nd looked close, just some more brap going up the wave. I have been doing them on my 701 SJ & it takes a lot more effort , its a lot harder without brap under the hood. IMO

Congrats, your almost there.

Thank you Shawn for posting the video and for the steady hand.:Banane25: Now I can see where I need to make my adjustments!!! I think Motoman25 is right , tilt my head back to spot the landing and It should all come together.:shocked: The boat is an 08 limited setup. 701 with a B-pipe, TBM flywheel, MSD Enhancer, Ada head and skat 12-17 freeride.... Should have an extra dose of BRAP under the hood for Daytona:sneaky: ... Need surf must practice for Wavedaze!!!!:Thinkingof_:

damn... im running 701-team scream porting, B MOD, dual 44's, R&D intake, boyesen reeds, tbm wheel, msd enhancer, ada head, lightweight couplers, 12-17 skat freeride mag prop, and TBM pump cone.


i gotta sack up and hit a wave like you did. yesterday we had clean surf just like that. i need to grow a set.
