Thank you Matt, I hope I never come that close to drowning again. Very intense swell underneath the foam. I do not understand how Ross survived as long or longer than I did out there when those 30 ft waves were rolling in last year.

lol eddie!!!! those chairs were awesome. seriously had a frekin blast out there. the waves were just gnarly.... it was basically go and survive for 6 min....SERIOUSLY.

all i have to say is Nascency chris and rhonda are the poop, mike, eddie, and jerry are the poop. ross and liz are awesome.

Pippa and I have just got home home after a few days in San Francisco (great place by the way!)

Have to say what a great weekend. Good weather, good company, good comp, good everything.
Well done to Ross and Mike for a great final, and also to Eddie and Buffachi for a great 1/4 final which was worthy of a final.
I owe thanks to Eddie for arranging for me to use a ski, and thanks to EJ, whose ski it was but I don't know him - nice ski mate.
Also thanks to Norcal for the ski that Steve and Tan used, much appreciated.
Sorry to Shorty, or sharky, if I pissed him off too much..... the Aussies hit the beer garden Friday lunch time and he was still pukking his guts up Sat morning :burnout:....typical Aussie, can't handle their beer...

Well done to Carolanne and the event organisers for getting it all done on Sunday after the tide probs on Sat, and Lisa marshalling us on the beach - it should be law that you have to have your hair down at all times...

Great weekend, and we had a great 2 weeks in the US "doing" the west coast.

errr, the robe made it as far as a trash can in a small town called Weed, in the middle of some hills and forests somewhere.... we stopped there for a night just for a photo for Arek!!!!!!!

LOL! Grant....you and Pippa are so good for my self esteem buddy (the check is in the mail)...was great seeing you.....you rode your backside off and rocked that pink robe sweetness! But I think you're a loopy Brit....do I really look that different with my hair down? I think it was the shower and a little makeup that made the big difference
