i did not ride that day either.
it was a summer storm.
las vegan's claim that what they call them.

primm is at the nv - ca border on I-15.

I ran into traffic heading back to cali one time and got off at primm on the side of the big coaster wild bill's? and got on that dry lake bed and bombed it to the next exit north of primm. There was a locked gate. Denied

that's a long flat lake bed from primm to the next freeway exit in calif !!!

the water is really low this year as the beach is not even nice to get to.

Looks like a great day to ride so smooth. I lived near sunrise mountain for 5 years 2000-2005 and use to go to guvment wash.The water level dropped so they closed that ramp down.Can you still 4wheel it and get your ski in the water near guvment wash? Is the area your riding on the way to Las Vegas marina? We took a house boat up near Temple Bar and then rode ski's past god's pocket and up the colorado river.The water was muddy brown ,cold and you could not see the bottom. A fun ride.Is that still possible with current water levels.

early this year the army corp's guy's came in and graded the road to the spot.
then all the scummy locals (you know how they are) started coming out on the weekend's and trashing the spot.

the lv gang ride's mostly during the week now.
i've only been here a little over a year now, so to answer your other question's on t bar are anywhere else i can not answer for you.

we had 12 bouy's in the water yesterday too.
no park police, it's was gr8 !!!

You ever go down below the dam to willow beach? Rode there a few times.I like the high canyon walls and the moving water enroute to the dam.Never made it to the hot springs.

yes, me and a buddy of mine from sanjose did that back in july.
it's was freaking over 110' that day.

there's pic's of that ride a couple of pages back in this thread.

i think they only allow jetski's up to the dam - river from willow beach during memorial day to labor day.
i'm not sure why ???

You went at the right time when its really hot cuz the water coming out of the dam is the bottom of lake mead very cool can't remember 20-30 degrees cooler than mead surface water?You know you wanna climb those rickty rusty cat walks on the east canyon walls like indiana jones up past the fish hatchery.I wanna come back and ride that place.Good times

More children have been conceived on that stretch of highway than any other in the vegas area.

yes, there's always about 10+ car's and suv's parked on the west side of frenchman - sunrise mountain on lake mead blvd everytime i come down that grade from the lake.

i was coming back for phoenix az on monday 10-5-09 and got more hoover dam pic's.
there building support block's up off the arch now.
then the road way goes in.

pretty soon no more driving over the dam.

that's the freeway by-pass on the az-east side of the dam.

here's a pic of the red rock hotel+casino off the nv 515 freeway up on the west hills of las vegas.
that's where all the rich mob'd-connected people live !!!

they have the pba bowling tour do there stuff there too.

Was just by there today after we went hiking at Red Rock. It was a beautiful day today!

Dude, the real money houses are the ones down by the strip. There is some crazy houses with ridiculous square footage, 6 car unattached garages, Olympic pools, etc, just west of the 15.

i've seen those house too, but the west hills house are like the brand new one's with all the new goodies inside.

i went to lhc today and came back through kingman and over the hoover dam.
looks like the az worker's - side won the big banana bonus for connecting the roadway parts 1st !!!
it's going to be quick + easy to go to knigman real soon.

the problem is the boulder city routing is still the same.
the traffic going to the dam from lv is still a pain in the banana on the weekends leading up to the hacienda hotel + casino.

the water level still sucks - low too.

there's still some nasty wrecks out here in the desert !!!

here's me at the M resort + casino sat afternoon.
i was palying poker and switched to keno.

the 1st pull off of $5.00 got me some real green banana's !!!
then we went to mr foo's in the palazzo for dinner.
that's a nice hotel !!!

If you have about $1000 a day to blow and enjoy meaningless 'entertainment' then yes, Vegas is sweet.

???????.... A couple years ago I went to vegas for a long weekend, caught the US open of supercross on Sat night and the World Finals in Havasu on Sunday. With the plane ticket from South Carolina, Hotel, car rental and US open tickets I didn't even spend $1k. You don't have to gamble to have fun in Vegas. And that wasn't meaningless entertainment ( although I wish I would've had more time and money to spend at Glitter Gulch)

Wow! I am planning to check them out on my next trip to Vegas. I love watching those guys.
