Las Vegas Area Pic's

me + a buddy from oregon went to that pawn shop last year after the wf's on monday.
the inside is kinda weak and very small.
the stuff they had on display was i think all garbage !!!

there'a a lot of other fun things to do here in las vegas.
the weather is starting to turn back on here, and most of the flashy pools are starting to open up too.
that's where the action is at !!!

i went to bullhead city az which is just across the rive fro laughlin nv.
i found a jetski company that has to be the biggest graveyard i have ever seen.
buggier than m+m-marine could ever be.

fyi, you can rent a sitdown in that city for $100 a day too.
there's lot's of company's renting sitdowns there.

these pic's are from st helena calif of the napa vine train.
it run's only about 15 mph on a 25 mile loop from napa to calasota, but it's kinda cool to ride on.

here's another set of pic's from northern calif.

this is lakeport at the lucky 4's resort's pier looking out to clear lake.
if you look real cloose, you can see the wave's coming through the steps.
that lake water is up very high !!!

and the duck's are even coming out of the water's up to main street for some fun too !!!

i some pic's i got on holiday in northern calif last week.
a couple coming down the 101 from santa rosa over the golden gate bridge.

i couple of ocean beach.
i wish blowsion would put on a freeride event out there !!!

here's a pic of the pacifica pier.
no jetsking there.

and a couple of rockaway beach in pacifica.
they even have a taco bell right on the beach there with shower's for the surfer's.
that beach is on a cable tv program on best places to surf big wave's.

went over the hoover dam today.
looks like it's almost time for the dam to close trafiic to drive over it and run the by-pass freeway.

the water is still pretty low too on the nevada side, but down stream is full on up.

here's pic's of the finishing look of the hoover dam by-pass bridge.
they have 2 2 lane roadways on the az side now too.

it's been over 100' for the last manth now, and willow beach below the hoover dam is getting a face lift too.

i'll get pic's of that next time i go over that way.

i went to flagstsaff az sat.
i got some newer pic's of the hoover dam going east over the dam to kingman az.

my camera phone suck's but that's what you get for free.

they have the grand canyon railroad up in the flagstaff area too.

trucker's from hell, and i mean hell.
they drive 80mph in az !!!
and then cut right in front of you going up a hill at 55mph too.
got a little mother nature action in that shot too.

and some of az side going west past the willow beach turnoff.
2 lanes in both dircetion's here soon !!!

that's the way to go to lake havasu city once they open the by-pass up.
instead of the searchlight - rolloer coaster freeway way though to needles calif.
i hate that road !!!
it's only 8 miles longer taking the hoover dam way.
the freeway speed is higher going the az way than the nevada - calif way, and the gas is cheaper in kingman too.

fyi, it's been over 110' for a high here for the last 2 weeks too.
low of 88' this morning.

here's a pic of the hoover dam by pass on 9-18-2010.
they claim it will open around oct 21st this year.
they also claim they are going to have a "walk over the colorado river" day before they open it to the trucks and cars again.
i'll get some pic's of that up as soon as it happens.

they removed all the cat walks and have reworked the wall under the bypass section on the curve going down on the nevada side.

the hoover dam was in tight security today. 10-16-2010.
they opened the by-pass today to walk on for some 2k fans.
from what i read today, we are all going to be able to walk on the north side of the by-pass bridge on a special walk way they added to the by-pass.

i got stuck in one of those important people motorcade's coming back from lake havasu.
i was stuck on the dam right in the middle for 35 min's.

i got some real nice shot's to add to this thread.
normally, i am driving 10 mph across the dam.

the people that were on the by-pass look like ants looking up from the dam.

the last pic shows how it's all going to connect on the nevada side right past the hacienda hotel + casino.

the hoover dam by-pass bridge is now open to car + trucker traffic.
i'll get some pic's from on top the next time i go to kingman lhc or phoneix for work.ice deal

i got this other pic of the wf race's i think back in 91 or 92 off a 3x3 pic the ijsba had foamed up when i was at the hall of fame awards show this year.
wow, our sport was bigger back then today's deal.

there's a vintage junk car sales lot right before the big hill into to kingman that has all kinds of classic cars and even a retro car-plane too in the front row.

another set of pic's from the hard rock casino-hotel this last weekend.
jwoww's birthday bash was insane !!!
they have some really cool display's of famous people's cloths and giutars.
they do also have 2 stripper poles in the gaming area on the weekend's too.
wish i would get a couple of more zero's added to a my winnings there so i could get my new play car.

my sprint lg phone-camera is a peice of chit inside buildings, sorry.
