thinking about getting some peeps together to build an indoor jetski waterpark complete with a wave pool for practicing freeride stuff. I figure just ventilate the upper section of one end of the building with exhaust fans, and intake vents at the other end to keep the air cleared of engine exhaust building up.

what size building do you guys think we would need to accommodate such an undertaking?

I'd like to build the wave pool to produce some pretty good sized waves.

We have a wave pool (for people) near here. It's 24000ft/2 and hold somewhere near 750000 gallons of water. It would not be big enough for a group to ride. Would be ok for one or maybe 2 guys, but that's it.

With this one, you'd hit a wave or two and come back in, then head back out. Not much room to go side to side at all.

yeah, I'd like to make it bigger than that. a full on good sized section of daytona is what I'm looking to get.

Not a good idea and I tell you why.....not enough revenue, you will go bankrupt and fast if your goal is to make this park for Jetskiers only.

Such place does indeed exist but NOT for jet skiers.....surfers are welcome though. People can also have a good time in the water along with the surfers and the wave is the biggest indoor wave in the world, no kidding.

The problem would be the contamination. NOBODY will want to get in the water after a bunch of "smokers" are done riding. This sport is not as main stream as we probably want thus you will have no revenue if Jetskiers are your main customer base.

Anyways, here is some info for you:

Wave Palace, a wave pool with an artificial white sand beach. At 3 meters high, its waves are the highest of any wave pool in the World. The waves are comparable to the 9-foot (2.7 m) waves in Poseidon's Rage at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park. The park's surfing school will give surfing lessons at the Wave Palace

This is another water park in the states !!!

The wave is AMAZING though.

As seen in the above videos it can be done and I was in mexico once and saw a pool with artificial waves - it wasn't huge! If you do it, I will come over from Poland to ride with ya!
