Is everyone using goggles?

I got really sick of the punch in the face water that I tried some saftey googles. They worked pretty good, but easily filled with water.

Has anyone found a better way to avoid the open eye blues?

How about shoes? I've heard wrestling shoes are good.

Any comments?

i use google chrome... :jester:

goggles are for couchers, they are a PITA to deal with on a standup. you ride freshwater, man up and go ride (you'll get used to it)!

i like wresling shoes IF you have extra padding in your tray, otherwise some old gym/running/skate shoes.

I never use goggles... don't like them at all.

Wrestling shoes are great, i wear 2mm dive sox in them for some extra padding, but the tops of my feed still get sore. I need to put some add'l padding in the tops of my footholds.

I don't get why people like the wrestling shoes. There are lots of wakeskate shoes available now that look better feel better and aren't that expensive.

The new high top ones are perfect for us. They also have more padding inside, especially on the tongue area, so your footholds dont hurt the tops of your feet. Also they dry out much quicker.

I usually wear a 10.5, but in wakeskate shoes, I wear a 10. That's for the Reef Byerly 3's though. My neighbor has them and my wife prefers hers over the wrestling shoes too.
