I doubt you'll break any aftermarket pole. If you've got #3, you shouldn't have any problems. Hood straps are cheap insurance though.

i only weigh 125lbs so im good there, and in not so much worried about landing on my head, im more worried about breaking something on the new ski haha
you wont break nothin, just dont bail. commit like its the last thing you will do. get crazy and huck it! you do it once you wont stop until your doin it.
