I must say that Steve is one of if not the :arms:most stand up guy in business. Steve takes dam good care of Steve's customers.

The most common problem is when the ride plate comes loose ands sometimes loss from not using washers on the bolts and silicone when installing.
i agree. that is so obviously an installation issue.
people need to learn how to put on rideplates much better so the carbon fiber "visual" layer doesnt come off like that.
is that the $165 "carbon fiber" ride plate you sell on your site?
I said the most "common problem" .
What happened to lakeboy is the first I've seen from any of my rideplates.
I bet there's a 6 year old thread about to be revived any minute now!!

that's cosmetic carbon.
pull it or cut it off and ride.
you also have a loose nut on your trim system and the plate screws are not the right ones btw.
I saw a WCF one completely fall apart and disappear in to a lake once. Completely de-laminated and melted off of the ski while riding. All 4 bolts were still in place!
good eye!
I lost a wammer plate same way..nothing left but 4 bolts and washers
I lost a wammer plate too back in the day (8 years ago) then realized why we use silicone on the bolts and plate.
