Hey guys.. I am replacing my prop soon.. First kinda go over the problem.. The ski is cavitating Extremely bad out of the hole, mid range is great (i will start build thread)... So talking with couple local guys i need a new prop (you'll see the damage on the leading edge of the prop)... But taking off my grate to replace it with an XR tech i demolished this piece somehow thati have NO idea how it came off.. So now im assuming proper measures werent taken previously or whatever.. Anyhow i need this black "pump shoe " thingamiajiggy" haha any suggestions or where to get? ASAP!!!

is the internal part of the pump shoe damaged? the part where the water flows?

if not, seems like you could put a new insert or re attach your existing insert somehow...

I have never done it, but seems like replacing the pump shoe is PITA.

Do not try replacing the insert. Trust me. Been there done that. Used every conceivable bonding material.

Replace the POS plastic pump shoe with an aluminum one. Hammer, sharp chisel and safety glasses. Take you 5 minutes to pop that thing out.

Get this shoe:

back to my cavitation issue... that prop damage seems to be the issue i'm assuming..... The gap seems fine correct?

which gap are you refereeing? the tolerance between the impeller blades and the stainless wear ring?

ya, that impeller is trashed. In addition it is a stock piece of junk impeller. 99.9% most likely you source of cavitation.
