Footstraps on the 650sx

Finally got around to actually putting these on my ski. I used threaded insert nuts, and a tight fitting O ring around that. Then I drilled into the hull 1/2 inch with a slightly smaller hole for a tight fit then applied loctite marine epoxy (the best stuff i could find at home depot) and put the turf back on with the same stuff. Whatcha think??

P.S. Ill get a end result picture tomorrow as that is when i get the second footstrap.

hummm??? you really think that the fiberglass will hold and not just crack and break up from the constant pressure?

also did you ever get a handle pole or do you still want mine?

well hopefully the glue i used will be good enough to hold. If not ill just redo it at a later date. I didnt get a handpole but im getting closer to having the ski ocean worthy to come down and try it out and pick up that pole. i duct taped the :):):):) out of my old pole and it has been holding but it looks :):):):)ty.
