Wut happens when you dont reinforce a Squarenose..

Noticed my turf was peeling off the side in a big strip so i stopped and pulled it off to reveal this broken through crack about 1.5 feet long. Metton sucks balls...
Oh well, I knew this was gonna happen anyway its happend to the other side and been repaired before... lol
Time to get out the epoxy, microfibers, and 1708...

Well its a 90 that i bought new in 91 and over the time it did sit for a total of maybe 4 years not ridden.
Thats the only spot that hasnt been repaired/reiforced. I've even pulled the whole handle pole bracket along with the fiberglass clean out of the hull before..lol
The 113th Superjet ever made will still keep riding FOREVER!!!
and will probably sit some more when i get my roundie finished.

When looking at the vin number how do you tell?
Would it be YAMA1C090?

Its the numbers right after the YAMA.
Like mine is YAMA0113E090
So the very first one would be YAMA0001A090 or something like that.

Ya I got her patched well, now my bilge pump took a dump and of course I didnt have a inline fuse in it and it totally drained my new Odyssey..:banghead: Probably took some life out of it too, I'm sure. Then a couple days ago my steering cable broke, but I found a one here in town from a buddy! I was up the river and had to the ol leg rudder action to steer back a couple miles to the ramp. lol

I remember fixing it.and the hole on the other side too. did the patch stayed?

mine has a mark on the inside of the hull that says..1-1-94 #4 so does that mean it was the 4th one with a 701 in it? its written with some faded a$$ purple marker

Ya I was up the river and had to the old leg rudder action to steer back a couple miles to the ramp. lol

Been there... it sucks! Try it on an X2 with a broken cable.

I'm shocked it lasted that long. My SJ split open 2 months after owning it (a 14" wide opening on lower half). My stock handpole lasted 3 or 4 months before it sheered completely off (cables held it in place).

Once I got those 2 out of the way, she has been silly reliable.
